CU Psychology and Neuroscience graduate student Pamela Romero Villela (Behavioral, Psychiatric, and Statistical Genetics, mentored by Matt Keller) was in the news, being interviewed for an article in the Daily Camera and CU Boulder Today about some recent research on the genetics of cigarette smoking. The research, published in Drug and Alcohol Dependence, examined how the presence of specific genes or their variants interact to impact how much a person smokes.
